Each ENSOURCE inspector has FERC, SGA or ENSOURCE Environmental Inspection Training. In addition, they have prior experience with and knowledge of FERC Plan and Procedures. Our inspectors know how to apply their knowledge of construction and ability to review all applicable project documents to resolve potential environmental compliance issues. Our inspectors have foresight toward the cleanup/restoration phase of the project and are familiar with required documentation and reports.
THE ENSOURCE DIFFERENCE IN COMPLIANCE/INSPECTION
- Personnel Selection – Assembling a team of environmental inspectors is more than a review of resumes. Successful inspectors have particular personality traits that make them effective in achieving compliance by the contractor. It is especially important that they be able to work and communicate effectively under the pressures that are unique to pipeline construction. Our team selection capability is not something our clients usually hire us for but is one of the top reasons they continue using our services.
- Effective Teams – We achieve effective working teams by pairing inspectors based on their management style, experience and knowledge. To the extent possible we provide teams that have worked together in the past and know how to get along with and respect each other.
- Integration With Construction Objective – We select personnel that will have the respect of the client company’s construction managers and craft inspectors. The latter staff are vital in environmental compliance. Integrating their needs with the environmental compliance effort requires a good relationship with environmental inspection personnel.
